Parsa Abdi

About Me

Parsa Abdi is a fourth-year chemical and biomedical engineering student at Queen's University interested in environmental and medical applications. He has a strong research background in process engineering with experience in oil separation and oil spill recovery, resulting in a first author publication at the Journal of Ocean Technology. Parsa is also an NSERC recipient with research experience on glutamate dynamics and its effects on synaptic plasticity pertaining to Huntington's Disease. While completing his degree in engineering, he is a teaching assistant and tutors several chemical engineering courses at Queen's and is an executive team lead at the Queen's Merlin Neurotechnology Club.
